DIY Custom Ralliart Wing (Evo X Style)

Cant find a Evo X wing in the area.So i decided to make a Evo X style ralliart wing.
Materials : Painters Tape.
Black plasti-dip.
Pen Blade
PATIENCE.
1 1/2 hours.

Well it looks great on the car. I really want to do this now. Not sure if I can find the patience for that though lol. Hopefully sometime this summer.

Explain that. Did you mask off the whole wing first, then paint, then remove the tape? Or did you plastidip the whole bottom half, then let it dry, cut it with exacto knife, then peel? Im curious what the best method would be.

To be honest i had to do a bit of both.
I first masked off everything of course,but since its plastidip,i forgot your going to have to use the knife to cut it,just to keep the tape from peeling off the paint along with it.
Another alternative is to peel it off while its wet and you wont have to worry about using the knife.
Its hard to do if you want to get a good coat onto the wing.
