I like the AP because of its real time tuning option, ability to display 6 gauges of your choice, very user friendly, being able to time you 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. Dyno tune options, and easy use of the AP program on the computer.

It was a bit pricey, I got mine for $450 from Cobb when they had the 10% off.

makes sense. i can't tune real-time as i'm holding on for dear life LOL. 0-60 and 1/4mi times is a handy option, but i have an app for that :P everything else seems pretty much the same other than price. i guess it all comes down to product preference.

Yeah, when I purchased it I wasn't really aware of any other product. I'm new to the car modding scene and a friend has as STI that he has a AP for... And when I contacted Kaizen Tuning they mentioned the AP so i assumed it was -required- for any e-tune at the time..

Either way I've had it for about a week and havent had any issues with it so I'm happy with the purchase .

for sure. if it ain't broke, don't fix it. i was just curious. just so you know, if anything changes, EcuFlash can be used on any car (Mistu and Subaru), at any time. in case you need something quick, etc.

i sound like a salesman LOL

If your looking for an E-tune, rob @ kozmic motorsports out of Boston. He road races his X MR and knows them and the SST like the back of his hand (recommended to me by Kris from SSP). Just my 2 cents

Have you personally used him to tune your car? Any issues? And out of curiosity what do they charge?

Have not yet had him tune my car yet. Sometime this summer tho. Found a surprise in my sst when i was doing the clutch so itll be later this summer when i get it back together. Ive called a fair amount of people about it and thats who im gonna end up going with. Morely concerned about a good tune on the sst tables as my torque will be getting up there

Even if you dont go with him but still get an E-tune, you may as well find someone who knows the SST and get that tuned well since your looking for some power

May I suggest Chet Rickerman? He hasn't done my e-tune yet but is going to. I've been in communication with him a lot via text and he's very helpful. You'll need a three port EBCS and a logable AFR gauge.

Something else to keep in mind is you need someone who KNOWS the TC-SST. That's just as important as knowing how to tune engines on the Ralliart.

Beeble did a great job with mine, including tuning the SST.
