so lastnight my check engine soon light came on as I passed a semi, I wasn't hauling *** or being an idiot simply passing. wondered what it was but didn't have time to look into it until today after work, except the light went off when I got off work. but 2 guys at work said yesterday ay lunch time when I was leaving my car "rolled coal" basically puffed black smoke. no idea any thoughts?? btw the light is no longer on

 

rolling coal or running rich which means you could of just tripped you O2 sensor for being rich

 

What are you running for mods?

 

evo x bpv. pure stock that's why I don't get why itd be to rich. I run the hghest octane at the pump 91 or 93 never any lower and never put any additive it

 

could definitely be running rich.... did they say they could smell the gas

 

no they just said it blew a good puff of black smoke. it hasn't thrown another light up yet and its been 5 days since it happened. I have no idea what it did, its all stock
