squeaky drivers seat anyone?

So my 2014 RA driver's seat started developing an annoying squeak. Car has less than 5000 kms on it. Just curious if anyone out there has this issue and what was done to resolve it. My dealership service manager said to wait it out until it had atleast 8000kms on it to ''break it in'' but I've never had an issue like this on any other vehicule of mine.

Thanks Y'all!

are yours leather (touring option) if so it's most likely rubbing on the center console.
It could also be the seatbelt sliders on the b-piller ( those have been known to rattle \squeak) There is a thread on putting felt in them to help.

Me? I would spray grease lubricant on the hinges and raising/lowering mechanism - see if that helps.

And get another dealer - they sound lazy/useless to me... Could they not TRY to replicate the sound? [rolls eyes]

My 2014 does the same thing and I also have cloth seats, but doesn't do it enou6to annoy me. I have a noisy glove box that I still have to fix with self-adhesive felt.

I had the same issue in my 2014 RA (cloth seatsm less than 4000km). I noticed that (for me at least) it only occurred on the coldest days we've had here in BC during Dec./Jan. and only when it had been exposed to those temps by sitting outside my work (otherwise it's in my garage). Since it's warmed up, it's gone away.
