Hey y'all. Was just wanting your opinion. Think it's worth parting out the oem parts. Or just let it go to the salvage yard.

 

You can sell what you can and then let it go to the salvage yard. Even if you only make $100. It's still $100 more dollars than what you have now.

 

It depends on how much you have to pay for the car. If it's a couple of hundred dollars and you have the time it could be worth it. If you have a full front bumper I will take it if you are willing to ship it!

 

How much is the ins company valuing it? They will deduct that from the payment. Is it worth the time and effort to remove/store/sell/ship the parts?

 

I think it would depend on the shape of the motor and Trans, You have 5K sitting there if they arent damaged. If Its a few hundred bucks from the insurance company I wopuld do it

 

and a functioning ACD pump too (I assume).


Post pix and consider telling us what happened to cause the accident.
(Not for public shaming, but hopefully there is a lesson for us in there, maybe?)

 

Hey. What happened is I hydroplaned at about 50mph. Hit broadside on a guardrail right on the drivers side wheel. So I'd for sure have a turbo, acd pump, manifold, injectors, the Rockford Fosgate audio system, passenger seat. I'll know Monday if I'm gonna part it out. Message me if you have a part you'd want.
