Exhaust manifold recommendation

Hello. I own a 2010 lancer ralliart. I found out I have a cracked exhaust manifold. Mechanic suggested that I buy an after market performance manifold because he believes they are more reliable and cheaper than stock/factory ones.

Does anyone have a recommendation on what performance manifold I should consider purchasing? I appreciate your help in advance.

Best,

Joe Doe

Map cast manifold. Hands down. Inexpensive, durable, way more flow, and turns cool colors. Lol

They don't make a stock ralliart sized one.
If you wanted to you could use that manifold in conjunction with a stock evo x turbo though.

When it comes to the ralliart manifold its get another stock one or do the evo x conversion.

If you want to try to have it weld-repaired - come down to Chesapeake Beach MD.
I will send you to the guy that did my repair (he only charged me $100... )

Thanks for the advice. I'm in the Baltimore area so Chesapeake Beach isn't too far. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.

No after market exhaust manifold for ralliart

After doing my research for an after market exhaust manifold for a ralliart, I found that there isn't one. The only ones I can find are made for EVO's. If I want to use the manifold for the EVO, I'd have to also do a EVO turbo swap, which is out of my price range. Unless there is a exhaust manifold for ralliart's that someone knows about???! Thanks for all of the help to those who replied.

^That is what my research (a few months ago) revealed as well. I was hoping you might find something I missed...

Finally found a custom after market exhaust manifold for Ralliart's. My local mechanic referred me to MA Motor sports in Glenarm, MD. They were able to order me a custom manifold. Getting the repair done tomorrow morning. Here is there website. You'll have to call to order it.

So is this a repair or a new manifold? You say repair, but I think you mean your having a new custom manifold installed right?
If its a new manifold is it tubular or cast?
Price and lead time?

It is new. and bad news, the manifold doesn't fit. Sorry for the false hope! I'm considering an evo x turbo swap. My 2010 ralliart has 125K miles on it. Worth it or no?

That's a little disconcerting that a professional company like that wouldn't do enough research beforehand to know whether something they were planning to sell you was going to fit on your car or not. Maybe it was just a simple misunderstanding but something about that doesn't sit right with me.

Slee256, it was a misunderstanding. When speaking to them, they thought that I already had the turbo upgrade and simply needed a new exhaust manifold. Worked out all the details in person today and I'm going with the EVO x turbo upgrade.
