fuel/tune choiceSt

good evening,

i have ordered parts to run my 2013 ralliart with a boost pill and GST base map with my existing intake and exhaust mods.

unfortunately, there is only up to 91 octane available in my location.

i am not sure how important it is, but my owner's manual calls for 94 octane. therefore, to date, i have been running 91 plus a bottle of STP octane booster every time i run close to empty.

obviously i could run the GST 91 octane map.

i was just wondering if there is any problem/downside to running the 93 octane map with octane booster.

thanks.

94 octane is probably were the engine ran best.

Lower octane is knock prone and will yield less power then high octane.

Remember octane content is how KNOCK resistant a fuel is.

Tune for 91 octane.

Makes life easier and avoids the risk of detonation.
