0.3 amp draw when car is off.

I am getting a .3 amp draw when my 2009 ralliart is off.. is this normal? To try to find the source of the draw I pull every since one of the fuses and was unsuccessful insolating the source.

How are you measuring draw? Why did you start to do so? Are there any symptoms you are investigating?

Using the parasitic draw/short video on youtube.. chrisfix
.

I went and pull every single fuse (except one - the Rear defogger fuse, because I would probably break the fuse I try to pull it), to find the source of the 0.3 amp draw.

Sometimes the car has a problem starting after leaving overnight...

You got to remember that with new cars even when its off its not fully off.

You have an remote entry system consistently looking for a signal, radio keeps a trickle to keep its settings, along with a few other things needing small amounts of draw.

.3 amp (300mA)is way too high (should be ~12mA).

Did you pull fuses from under the hood and the interior panel?

Next, pull relays one by one.

Are you confident with your multimeter? A cheaper meter could give you some false data...not likely but just ruling out the obvious stuff.

As Veronica said pull relays as well...and keep in mind when you first begin measuring your charging capacitors and such for a few momentsthrough the meter. So if the draw tapers down to a much lower number after a minute your probably ok.

If pulling the fuses got you no where the relays have got to be the culprit.

If thats 300 milliamps thats too much.
If its 30 miliamps it should be ok.
43 miliamps is spec for all of our obd2 cars at work. "Hyundai".

I figured out the problem.. just a bad multimeter (was reading 0.3 amp then it stopped working reading zero). I ordered a fluke 15B+ (excellent stuff), with the fluke.. after a few minutes it was reading 0.01+ and keep it there for a while.
