Older Ralliarts: How are your cars holding up?
This is mostly for those of you who have older ralliarts with high millage. How are your cars holding up?
The 3 year manufacturer warranty of the 2009-2010 models are expired at this point; have any of you had trouble with your cars, particularly the transmission, once the warranty is up? Any of you thinking of getting rid of it for fear of something breaking?

No problems and not worried. Currently at 40k miles and just upgraded the turbo to BBX Lite. Still drives like you'd expect a RA to drive, as long as you're not shoving the loud pedal through the floor.

I have a 09 with 60k on it. Still drives good, car is paid off so why would I get rid of it. Getting ready to flush the trans fluid in about 2 weeks. The only problem I've had with it is the AWD pump went out, I had the extended warranty (thank god) so I only paid $100

My RA is an 09 with 99,200 miles. I have the extended 100,000 mi warranty. My only problems so far were a oil gasket leak $100 out of pocket and a cracked intake manifold $700 out of pocket.
The car itself still shows very little concerns of major malfunctions. Smaller issues come up occasionally. Check engine light will come on once per month and go off within 2 days. My steering wheel shimmies at 65mph+.
I drive it easy and I hope to get another 50,000-100,000 without anything big happening. It will be the test on whether I buy Mitsubishi after this.

09 Ralliart, riding at about 62,000km or so.
Only issue I've had was the 'service required' message popping up twice which was SST related, dealership said it was the 5th gear misfiring or a block. Admittedly I was behind on the transmission servicing, but I did that about 2,000km ago and that fixed up any issue I had. Car shifts/drives like the day I drove it off the lot now. Just don't be negligent on maintenance, in particular the SST fluid.

I have 60000ml and my trans is great. I recently changed the fluid and it is like new again. I feel that the car is still great for all conditions and will last a very long time. I have changed all the fluids only to be safe. very reliable and fast.

just shy of 51,ooo kms, been modded and running Cobb AP since the first month i owned it... only had a bad battery (warrantied), and a cv axle boot leak (warrantied)
i've noticed my engine has a fair bit of surface corrosion, pretty much the only downside i've found to the car

I've got a 2009 Ralliart with 47,000kms which was bought as a repairable write-off.
Turbo hose came loose in my second week of driving and I've had my resonator replaced (aftermarket exhaust that was installed poorly by previous owner) but no issues with the car itself.
Drives fine with no major complaints, I'm considering either giving it a tune or buying a 135i in the next 12 months (just something different with a bit more grunt!).

Got 09 Ralliart with 107k kms. Major problem was Acd Pump went out. Thank God there's mitsubishiparts.net to get cheaper Acd pump as the rebuild seal process didnt go well for me.
Stage 1 mod and the Engine & Tranny still going strong.

09 with 54,000 miles on it. The trans was replaced at 28,000 miles. Also has wheel shimmy at 70mph and the A/C makes a lot of noise when it is on that I'll check that at my next oil change
