Coilover Development..

Hey guys i emailed JIC about any news if they had any plans on releasing coilovers for our ralliart and he emailed me back saying they can develop some if i was in CA.

Obviously i cant since im half way across the world but just a heads up for you guys in CA wanting coilovers ..

if it was that easy then i think a lot of people would be doing that.. pretty sure the suspension is different between the evo and RA... although no one has yet to try this so we cant confirm this.. do you want to be the gineau pig?

Whenever someone says "HEY JUST SWAP IT WITH AN EVO " the best thing to do is go into that persons statistics and look at the threads they have started here on EvoM. That will give you a good idea as to whether or not they know what they are talking about.

If it is a vendor for a related type of part, they will probably have a good idea.

If its a moderator, you will probably get a good idea, or be pointed to something that will help you out.

Tien USA

Tien USA has a basic coilover damper kit in development. The specs are so far:

-spring rate: front @ 6/336 and rear @ 5/280
-ride height: front @ -2.2 in and rear @ -1.8 in
-ride height adjustment range: front @ max -1.8in/min -3in and rear @ max
-0.8in/min -2.7in

the teins have been in development for few months now.. havent heard anything about the release date..

I am sure the Tiens will be released by the end of summer some time, hopefully. By then I should be on wider wheels.

I would call Robi or Scott and see if they have completed their Ralliart kit. I rode in the first prototype 4B11T Ralliart in the country, which was loaned to Robi last year for development, and he had done some nice things on his prototype.
