SERIOUS Braking Issue...

I took my car in for the Brake Booster Recall and since I have I've noticed a few weird little annoyances...

When pumping the brakes at a standstill, you can hear a little clicking noise that sounds like it's coming from under the shifter???

More serious was as I was recently sliding (due to our sh!tty summer tires) and the ABS kicked in the brake pedal began to pulsate irregularly and actually pushed my foot back and the peddle would not go down as it does while braking normally. It almost felt and sounded like something was in between the pad and the rotors, but this shouldn't have been possible and definitely shouldn't have caused the brake pedal to pull a House of Pain and jump around... Right?

Anyone else have something like this happen after the recall?

Taking it in to the dealer for sure to say the least...

the clicking is a switch that will not allow the shifter to be moved out of PARK unless the brake pedal is depressed.

i hear it on mine to................if i listen for it.

when ABS system kicks in , the brake pedal will pulsate violently.
but if you are uncomfortable with how it felt.....
.......... deffinetly have someone check out your brake system.

Your first ABS car, by chance? Everything you describe is normal. If comparing it to a car with a less advanced ABS systems, you have to remember our car controls the brakes for each wheel individually (the ASC), so as different wheels get different pressures, the pedal will feel different.
