Chain Question

Hey guys,

I have the summer tires on there and was going up to tahoe for a weekend. The co-workers I have asked say rent chains; others say chains on an AWD car won't work. I don't deal with snow, so I don't know what I should do in terms of our cars.

Renting chains would be easier, and cheaper, than purchasing winter tires for a 3 day trip

So if you have any advice what should I do?

Thanks

dont ever use chains, ull **** up our car, use cables instead, the cables will give some grip, but with the summer tires, dont expect to see any grip going over 25-30mph
