Spring Decision

Im trying to decide what springs I want to buy. Ive narrowed my choices down to 2

Eibach Sportlines - 1.7 front 1.6 rear (I cant find spring rates on either)
Tein S-Tech - 2.2 front 1.8 rear

The Eibachs are new, and may not even be out yet. However I like the drop numbers and Ive had Eibach before so I know they are quality.

The Teins are lower, but I dont have the same confidence in quality as I do on the Eibachs. Looking around I see people mentioning pre-mature shock wear but the drop doesnt seem all that extreme for that to be more of an issue than with any other drop.

I know RRM is a favorite on here but given the choice between the Eibachs and the RRM id rather go with Eibachs. For the lower drop and also for the eibach name/quality.

Thoughts?

I just called Tire Rack and they wouldnt give me any kind of info. They said its not in their system so they dont have a release date or pricing yet.

Anyone else have an opinion between these two?

Would you be able to find an exact date for me? I had another vendor respond to me saying it was the first week or so of May. You are cheeper but I don't have to pay shipping with them. So what would shipping be to 60097? Thank you

Ok so I just called Eibach and they said the springs wont be available till mid June. Rears are done, fronts are on back order.

When was the last time you talked to the Tire Rack guy? Looks like about 2 weeks ago but its hard to tell from the thread.

Yea I know how u feel. I decided on these cuz I couldn't hold out for Ryan Gate's spring setup. I'll have to go with the RRM.

there is no reason to not get rrm. they are a well built setup, with zero body roll. Adding some wheel spacers to the mix and you have a home made ryan gates setup.

drop isnt as low as the other two im looking at and I trust Eibach way more than RRM and Tein ive at least seen on a number of various applications. Not trying to knock RRM, they just dont stack up for what Im looking for.

Eibach does make good springs. If you get tired of waiting I am planning on putting together a group buy with Swift sometime this month.
