Background: Found a sweet deal on tires that had only been used for a summer or 2 70-80% tread left. Picked them up didn't even think to double check they were the same size even when he said they came off an infinity.

So what I have is (2) 225/45/18 and (2) 245/45/18 going on 18x7.5 wheels. Being they are the same circumference will the added width in the rear affect the AWD? And maybe a better question is will a 245 fit/look stupid on a 7.5in wide wheel? Trying to decide if I try to sell them or try to make them work.

After reading around on some other forums looks like 245 on a 7.5" wheel isn't a good idea. Guess I will try to sell these for hopefully some profit.

staggered tires is pointless. Staggered wheels is where you have a look change. However, i think both cause issues with the abs system.

And yes 245's on a 7.5 is way to big. The tire will get taller, which hinders performance.

Different diameters, compounds, and widths will have an adverse affect on the long term health of the AWD system. Its best to stick with identical tires at all four corners.
