Tire Rack?

Hey there,

I was wondering if anyone knew what happend to the tire rack deal that was sponsored on winter tires. I recall someone had posted some tire/wheel setups tirerack had on special for members of evolutionm.net. I can't seem to find the post anymore. I have a feeling it got edited/updated. Any ideas?

Thanks, Cam

To my knowledge there hasn't been any EVO member specific discount. A handful of manufacture rebates, but nothing special for forum members. Sorry.

For the stock 18's we have the Kazera KZ-D on special for $129 ea right now. Grey center mach lip, tuner look, easy to keep clean. Not a bad choice.

If you can find a link for it I'd be happy to look into it. My internet manager didn't inform me of any group buy or posts for one.

I'm looking for 16" rims to put some winter tires on... I will most likely be buying them through tire rack.... Any suggestion on 16" rims that look nice on a white ralliart?

Ill take a look and try to find the post.. in the mean time, how many setups do we have to buy to get a group buy discount?

Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor a group buy. Even if I sell a large quantity to an individual over the phone no discounts apply. We always try to put our best price out there initially so there is no haggling. Many times we come out better, sometimes we don't. It all depends on the product. Sorry, its out of my control.

No worries, anyhow... So what do you suggest for 16" rims? for my WW 10 Ralliart? I'm downsizing for winters and throwing on the conti wintercontactextremem or whichever they are...

Ahh ok.

Sport Edition A7 and F7 are quite popular. Easy to keep clean and won't hold a lot of snow/ice with the design.

So I finally ordered some tires from Tire Rack, yesterday. I'm from Vancouver B.C. and after taxes and duty and everything, I got a set of 205/60/16 Conti ExtremeWinterContacts with some nice 16"x7.5 silver 9 spoke rims as well as 4 TPMS and all the hardware and balancing etc etc, shipped to my door for 1350. It works out to be cheaper mainly due to the TPMS, that's what really offsets the cost for me. In Canada here they are 121 each, so basically 500 for 4, and they only cost me 200 for 4 through Tire Rack. I would of ended up paying around 1700-1800 in Canada for this setup so I guess I saved somewhere between 400-500 dollars.

The service was good, a bit of a pain in the butt though when they go to verify your CC. But in the end I got everything verified and the tires were shipped today.
