Is anyone running on the tanabes? Interested to see if someone has had problems with their struts because of these springs. Got a good deal on a set of these but want to make sure they won't end up costing me more money later on by needing new struts. Thanks for the info

 

Afaik all springs will wear your struts faster than stock.

 

I know they will but I am trying to see if tanabe will wear them faster than swift.

 

Do the Tanabes have a higher spring rate than the Swifts? If so, they will probably wear them out faster.

You can't really compare your car to someone else's car because they might drive differently than you or on drastically different road conditions. There are alot of variables that go into strut wear. The only control value you can use in your scenario is the spring rate. If you compare the rates of the stock, Tanabe, and Swift springs you can get an idea of when the struts will wear out. Mind you the strut wear rate can only be expressed in relative terms since, as mentioned above, struts wear out at various intervals.
