That was my favorite part of Disney World / Epcot / MGM when I was a kid!

DRT Rotors and EBC Pads Installed

I got the DRT machined Centric rotors and EBC Redstuff pads installed today, fitment was perfect. I must say that knowing the EBC Redstuff pads require a bed in process, I was expecting that the initial braking performance would most likely be no better than the OEM brakes.

Well, I was totally wrong about that.

The braking performance is vastly superior to the OEM braking performance, and from everything I have read about these pads, they will reach their full potential after about +/- 500 miles or so. I am totally pleased with these rotors and pads right now, and if they get better as advertised after the bed it process, that will just be a bonus!

The EBC Pads were about $155 shipped from The Place For Brakes, and the DRT Rotors were about $290 from DRT-SPORT. Obviously this is not a BBK and if your driving needs dictate a BBK, I think what NFS Lancer is doing is probably impossible to beat in value. But if like me your driving needs just dictate a good upgrade over the stock brakes, you might want to give this package some consideration.

Any updates on the performance of these? Like a stop distance 60-0 or anything?

Drt, ebc

RGRA, I think you will be pleased with your choice, I know I have been.

Arron, I have not done any brake tests other than my observations of how the brakes respond in normal driving, and really don't have any plans for an actual test.

Perhaps one of the couple of others on the forum who are ordering this rotor/pad combination might want to set a test up. I know I would be willing to wager that these rotors/pads would have no problem showing better stopping results than stock!
