Has anyone bought EBC rotors? I am looking at either the Ultimax Rotor or the Dimpled and Slotted Sport Rotor.

Let me know if you have any insight or experience with these!

DRT makes slotted/dimples rotors...I just bought mine w/ EBC redstuff pads. There are other guys doing the same combination.

I've seen the ones you have, but I would prefer to order from EBC if they fit good. Theyre dimpled, slotted ones are sick

It makes no sense to get anything else. Stoptech/Centric Premium blanks (unbelievably good quality) are almost the cheapest options, anyways. Brembo rotors will cost a little bit more, but bare in mind that they are the rotor of choice on the fastest cars in the world (I **** you not). And, all it takes is one phonecall or conversation with DBA, and you will be sold. Their 2-piece rotors are used by most Rally drivers that I know up here. Come to think of it, I don't recall which rotors are used with Gravel-spec brake upgrades. I know that the calipers are AP-Racing.

Either way, I have heard good things about EBC. I have also heard (very) bad things, and that is what scares me. I wouldn't and won't run those rotors on any car that I work on. I just won't.

I also happen to know that DBA is going with a new color scheme for this model year on all of their 2-piece rotors. The red and (I think) blue are being sold off for pennies on the dollar. I bought a set of STi front 2-piece rotors a few weeks ago for $400 (original price: $1200).

DBA4417 is the P/N for the front rotors.

You can order them from knsbrakes.com

I can order them as well, although I am not a certified dealer.

I would go with Centric Premium blanks in the rear. That would be a sweet setup, for sure.

With that rotor, you could get away with running a higher quality Ferodo or Hawk pad and not experience too much fade.
