Thumbs up Ultimate Racing exhaust installed

Hi folks,

I've installed the Ultimate Racing Cat-Back on my car yesterday.
I must say it's one of the real true bolt on I ever saw.
Everything fits perfectly and being 3 pieces it's easy to get it over the suspension.

I've ordered the one with nothing on the center pipe, they offer mini muffler or resonator option. I would say that so far I think it's making a bit too much noise.
It's really really loud, when you depress the gas pedal you can feel it shaking inside the cabin.

Over 3k rpm the sound is awesome, under 3k since it's so loud I guess I'll need to get used to it. Even if it's only a cat back I can feel a slight difference with how smooth the power is.

Thumbs up for a good product, you don't pay more money for nothing.

I'll try to post a sound clip as well soon.
The video on ultimate racing website supposed to be with nothing on the middle pipe but I found the sound really different. I don't know if it's because it's on a Evo X in the video and the bigger turbo cut more of the sound.

The mini muffler will be quieter and the resonator as the name suggest simply remove deep deep note that usually draw cops attention.

With nothing on the middle pipe, people really turn their head around to look what's coming down the street.

I agree. I have the same exhaust setup for the same reason. Sounds great, looks great and performs great.

I origionally installed this system with the standard mid-pipe. To me it was too loud so I got the resonated mid-pipe. It's toned it down some but it's still kind of loud and at certain RPM's resonates through the cabin so much that it vibrates the windows. I might order the mini-muffler to tone it down more. Don't get me wrong, it sounds awesome but on long trips you tend to go def.

I should be able to post a sound clip to shortly.
I had issue with the cops and the loud noise the TBE exhaust was doing.
I had no mini muffler or resonator.

I added a resonator and 2 exhaust noice reducer in the tip.
Now I can pass in front of them and they don't look too much at the car since they believe it sounded like that stock and the 2 4 inch tip are not sitting there like giant empty hole
