so quick question, for you ^^^^
this may sound stupid to you guys, but it's important to me since I'm driving my car daily.
If you were to put the intercooler up in the air, would you be able to see a little bit of light through the fins?

You won't be able to see any light. The internal fins are dense and staggered on the inside, which allows for a cooler AIT. This is very important on a turbocharged vehicle. The external fins are also very important, you don't want a core that has very dense and louvered external fins on a daily driver, this blocks air flow to the radiator. We use a staggered external fin w/ no louvers which allows for good air flow to the radiator while still dissipating heat.

If you have any questions, let me know!

Thanks,

Michael

Michael,

Do you know if the Stock FMIC for EVO X will fit the 09 RA without any complications? Looking for a straight answer.

I would love to give you a straight answer, but the honest answer is, we have not fit one our self. Judging by the pics, it looks like a direct bolt on.

Thanks,

Michael

It was monitored on the dyno when I got it tuned. I will have to sort through my video of the dyno runs to get it.

I put an evo x intercooler on my ra. When and if you do get one you need the evo x upper pipe. Also you'll need a larger coupler for the bottom pipe. You can get those usually at your local parts store. I'd say it was an easy instal the hardest part was taking off the front bumper which really isn't that hard.
I will try to do some logs to see what the difference is. Also if you have questions about the instal just PM me i'd be happy to help. I'm in northern NY so any one close i can help you with the instal.

Here, u got some good info; so let me ask u:

IF! you get the Evo X intercooler, and you require the Evo X pipes, then that means you can also get HKS pipes for the Evo X and have them installed in the Ralliart? am I right? unless the intake from the turbo to the upper pipe is a bigger diameter (which i think it is)....
