ok so here the scoop.... its a pretty damn good CAI but the only thing that bugs the hell out of me is how the trans cooler has to be moved forward about 5 inches and with it makes it sit right be hind the fog light.... but other then that is amazing sounding and pulls pretty damn hard...
now they say you have to pull off the bumper to install i did it in about 1 hour and 30 minutes with out removing the front bumper... remove the wheel, wheel well, foglight, and stock intake... AND with OUT INSTRUCTIONS as well!!!!!! i had to guess my way through it... haha
everything works great no CEL.... and pretty damn sold...
test drive for 2 hours doing speed limit.... no CEL or over heat tranny..... but that tranny cooler had to be move was kinda a ***** i had to be very careful trying not to bend any fins on the cooler.... and the i notice i had a fing... big as moth stuck in it and it bend some fins in the front... lol.... freaking bugs.... they can put holes in your cooler... lol.... i kinda combed it back straight... but yea.... well i am gonna have to do some more testing because the trans cooler is just kinda weirdo... with way it sits but i looks like it gonna be have *** cooled... iono what its gonna be like on the track... i hope we wont have trans cooling problems... but soo far soo good... gonna post a vid soon... with my AMS Catback as well.....

yea i second that too... but so far so good... havent have the trans over heat yet... and i have been driving pretty hard too.... we will have to see... i might just end up foglight less to give it the trans cooler more airflow.... sigh...

looks good, about the relocation of the oil cooler...its the only way they did t his on the CVT lancers also, its just a bracket it wont harm performance of the oil cooler at all, the oil cooler sitting next to the fog light wont cause more heat i mean come on the air outside is typically hotter than a fog light will ever get.

I'm still not sold on this CAI. Installation seem to be a PITA with or w/o taking the bumper off and then having to move the trans cooler. Nah I'll pass. And also the gains doesn't seem much different from the SRI. I rather get the SRI especially living in SFL we get 5 mins of rain and sit in 6 inch puddles.
