I have seen a couple of RAs hitting 300+ on their stock turbo on here and in clubrallyart.com on their stock turbo.

I know I went a lil over board with the bpv but you get what I'm saying that they are pretty good equipt from factory. All you will need is a stock Evo X BPV and crush it so it can hold more psi and there you go.

More PSI is not always better, if you move the turbo out of its optimal range, you're just making extra heat and overworking the turbo.

getting a used evo ix recirc valve is probably the cheapest option. i got mine for $50 shipped rather than paying $180 for the ams one. bigger injectors and fuel pump shouldn't be necessary unless you plan on running e85.

I'd have to see dyno sheets. Even on very friendly dynos, the most I've seen Ralliarts put down with the stock turbo is ~295.

As for which BOV to get, the AMS BOV is exactly the same as a stock EVO X BOV as far as I know. The cheapest option is to buy a used EVO IX or X BOV, which you can find for $50 to $100 on the forums.

I'm sure 300 ft/lbs of torque is possible on the stock turbo but you'd need meth injection to get there. It'd be a cool idea though for a daily driver.

Meth is possible, but I don't have much experience working with it. I'd much rather go the EVO X turbo route since the engine, fuel system and transmission all seem to be engineered with that turbo in mind.

If that's still not enough power, once we have more options for the TC-SST, a meth injection kit could be added with the EVO X turbo. Even with the stock turbo and CA 91, people have been hitting >400 whp/wtq.

Meth isn't that bad, I know quite a few people that use it with great results. It depends what you're after really. I went the bigger turbo method for the same reasons you're considering it, it's easier, you know the car was made to use it and it's a direct hardware upgrade.
Here's a 2.0 L WRX with a stock turbo using meth. Notice how the HP rating isn't bad but not fantastic. The torque on the other hand is huge.

That is a ridiculous torque curve for the ej20, especially considering it is only putting down +50-60 whp over stock.

I also wonder whether a custom tune on race gas might be a better option than a meth kit. You'd have to swap out the rom every time you wanted to use it, or in my case, fill up at the gas station between work and home that sells race gas.

Race gas is a cool idea but costly and potentially risky (imagine getting caught with the race tune and no race gas). Meth makes any gas race gas and the current systems have plenty of safe guards just in case something goes wrong (like you run out of meth). You can also fine tune it so it sprays under certain conditions or all the time. You save gas as well since you can run leaner.
