But no, upping our stock boost 1-2-3 -4 psi only will give us a bit more power, but not 40 whp to catch a stock gsr. If 1 psi = 40 whp, then that theory would mean our stock power would be 17.9x40. I wouldnt mind 720 whp but it seems slightly flawed doesnt it?
actually they are running the same power together if u bmp the boost up by 1! my mistake i thought i saw more somewhere, so in theory if he were to bump it up by two then it would surpass a stock evo..

This is a custom tune, the car is still 100% stock down to the paper filter. It also has no boost pill upgrade yet.

223 whp / 241 wtq

Boost after tuning: 18.5 psi peak (3200rpm), tapering to 10 psi (7400rpm)

Boost factory stock: 17.5 psi peak (3400rpm), tapering to 9.5 psi (6500rpm)

This is making about the same horsepower as a stock Evo 10

any more question ask Bryan here from GST

223 whp is not the same power as a stock evo. Gsr's make 240 whp stock and 260+ torque.

Also, a custom tune, with only 1 pound of boost with have a few things.

a. a leaned out fuel mixture from the rich stock mixture that in itself makes more power.

b. more timing advancement over the stock timing which is again, magically makes power as well

and c. a boost pill isnt needed to make more boost. I have NO boost pill, no stock one, no aftermarket one, and i hold 23 until redline and drop to 18.

This is a 09+ Ralliart forum, not Evo. Two different turbos.

I'd also suggest getting a better boost controller, aka OEM.

My data logging (3rd gear pulls) is showing me GST v2.5 boost pill base map doing 21psi peak tapering to 10 psi by redline @4000 ft of altitude...

You aren't holding 20-21 at redline with a stock RA turbo. I'd bet $10,000 on it.

If you have a downpipe, it ain’t stock.

I also suggest not challenging data that has been established for over 14 years.

I meant, stock tune, sorry, I'm map to stage 2 but the sst tcu blocked my torque limit, trying to mod the tcu.
Got error p1241 #4; throttle requested torque ramp rate lancer when testing new map
