Ultimate Racing Engine Mount Insert Review

Last weekend i installed Ultimate Racing's Engine Mount Insert set. They sell them for front and rear and i installed both. For me they were a good choice because i dont have to have take the car to a shop for install. They are inserts so dont have to use a press. What i notice right away is that the shifting and power tranfer after shifts is amazing!! i think is good for anybody that does road race once in a while (like me). The bad news is that the vibration from the inserts bothers my GF. i like it but she hates it. So this weekend i took out the front inserts and only used the inserts for the back. The shifting is still 100 times better then stock. My GF also likes it now so everybody is happy

restricts engine movement, especially upon accel/decel, to create more immediate response, eliminate torque steer, and such

just speaking in general terms regarding engine mounts. although it can be said that there is still a very slight amount possible with awd vehicles depending on the setup

So for a hundred bucks you get better response? that's better bang for your buck than the Sprint booster!!!

+1 for a huge shift feel difference, no more basketball effect. rear might be overkill.

How hard was it to install? You don't have to take out the whole engine do you?
