it was 335 last time i heard about it. And a tranny is more effected by torque then power.

Yep and there are like 2 guys on the forums (this and another) with FP green. They say it runs great. I think they are running a biger wastegate to dump more boost. The green is a great alternative. With the right tune it starts spooling nicely at 2900-3200RPM

I may be ignorant in saying this as I dont know all there is to know about turbos, but if your going to spend that kind of money, why not get an actual Garrett?

so i kno someone will say use google search or something but, what are the differences between X turbo, fp green in terms of HP/TQ im asking only cuz i want to know is it worth it to dish out the doe if you could save up a lil more and go much bigger? And another quick question is why is it fp is the only company i constantly hear about? is there other companies at all who make turbos for us?

May other companies. Just that Forced Performance makes bolt on applications for the X. Makes install easier, with very little to no fabricating required. Not exactly sure on HP gains, heard up to 420hp but depends on the whole setup you are running

there's also cbrd speedfactory that uses housings that fit the stock manifold. i'm not sure if there are bigger mitsu turbos out there, but the UK FQ400 evo is 400hp. i dont know if thats on the same turbo as the normal evos.

I wonder what would be the best we can get on our RA without having to dump 3k or more on tranny upgrades, i only keep saying this cuz of money, why spend it all on a X turbo if you could squeeze out just a smidge bit more for more hp/tq.

That isn't a bad way to go. I haven't seen one in person, but the results that others have had with this turbo look promising.

I still cannot understand why people do these things without upgrading the clutch packs or seals or coolers or anything. I would feel like I was sitting on a ticking time bomb running that configuration.

the results would be pretty interesting to see how it pans out.

your spot on though, when upgrading with a bigger turbo, the clutch packs & cooler are something that need to be done at the same time - at a bare minimum, better coolers / sst fluid...
