isn't there a limitation on torq and horsepower for the sst with stock packs.

alot of you rally owners running green, reds and evo x turbo's with over a 300 torq and whp limit on sst.how is the tranny holding up!!!!!!!!!!!

tranny is holding up just fine here and I abuse it daily . This makes me want to get out to the track before winter now!

my tranny is holding up just fine and i abuse mine daily too. but i also put a fan on the stock trans cooler and i also put a homeade front mount transmission cooler on my car also. it has taken alot of practice to really be able to get the launches down perfect. but i have also probably lunched my car 200 times already. so i am sure someday i will have to replace my clutch packs.

oh wow, i launched my car maybe 10 times and im worried about doing it more, i bought my car used so idk how many times previous owner has, but this makes me less afraid lol.

Ive launched probably 50-60 times on the same or more power. The 1/4 isnt where youll ruin the tranny.

no i definitly dont think you will ruin the transmission drag racing because you are not running it long enough to overheat. yes i am the guy that was at GLD i will be there again next spring with my new setup hopefully be one of the first ralliarts to run 11's but i am sure someone will beat me to it.
