BOV location
I was suspecting a leaky bov, and I was able to find a really great deal on a Turbosmart bov, so I bought it. I cut the hose that comes off the lower IC pipe so that the new bov would not stick up too far since it is quite a bit taller than stock. In my haste, I didn't realize that the the bov was now in the way of the intake snorkel.
My question is, has anyone had this problem, or have they re-piped and installed an aftermarket bov in a different spot?
And yes, I did have a very leaky bov after about 20 psi. After the new one was installed, I logged a large boost spike before I readjusted the wgdc. I'm thrilled with the torque I got back that had slowly slipped away from me as my stock bov developed a severe leak!
