and im about to purchase the ssp 500hp clutch paks... from my homie mike at awd motorsports..
well my question is... should i stay with the stock evo x turbo setup...
or can i put a bigger turbo and wat you reccomend with my new setup?

fp green is going to be your best bet. The red is cute but for a fun quick spooling car the green wins out every time. An alternative that spools nicely is the bbx lite. Very similar results, both great quality. Its a toss up really.

Its fair to say most of this is over kill, but i understand you wanting to experiment and explore so gl with the build

The main thing i would change is the 500 clutch pack down to the 400.

If you tune it at AWD on a bigger turbo i doubt you'll need the MBC.

If you dont already have one, an upgraded BPV would be a great idea. Agency Power makes a sick unit at a good cost.

And for the heck of it, get a nice manifold o2 housing setup while your putting it all together. Not sure what the overall satisfaction is on the Megan racing pieces, but i believe map makes a nice setup as well.

Lastly, you dont mention which IC you have, but a stock EvoX cooler probably wont cut it. Id look to AMS UR ETS or others for a larger 3.5" + solution.

Question

Did you ever investigate the reason why your engine let go? I'd be curious and I'm sure others would be to.

Theoretically its more power before boost with a stroker kit. Your torque will increase throughout the entire rpm range. Its something i would look into if i had to buy new rods and pistons.
