What Cobb AP calibrations do you want

after sending a letter to the marketing/PR dept of cobb outlines the frustration with the abosolute lack of 09+ ralliart developments while the X's map list has grown to include just about anything you could think of the rep has emailed me back asking for some input for possible future calibrations.

so right now all we have is diffenerent octane settings for stock or TBE exhaust

i assume were going to want calibrations for the following

-intakes(ams,UR,Injen,ETS)
-injectors & fuel pump upgrade
-FMIC & piping upgrades
-stage 1 & 2maps for more boost ie with a boost pill
-drop in filters(K&N, Works)
-the oem evox turbo/manifold swap
-E85 maps for all calibrations

if i've missed something post here so i can include it with my email, i'll be updating the above list to keep it all in one spot, i'll give this till sunday night before i fire off the email

While I am familiar with the limited MAP offerings for the RA, I'm really not familiar with the MAP options available for the Evo.

Having really not studied the Evo maps that are available for the Cobb AP, are any or all of the options you list available for the Evo? I think I saw a few different intake options foir the Evo, but the list of options you suggest for the RA seems pretty extensive. I frankly would not have guessed that so many options would be already available for the EVO, but if so, would certainly like to see similar options for the RA.

You'd be surprised. I went through the list for evo x maps and it has an impressive amount of maps for close to about every possible common mod set up at the touch of a button on their site. I encourage you to go look and see. Kind of makes you feel like while the evo x got an on the go device that gives them maps for any new mods it has, your forced to get a dyno tune, and when you add something else you gotta get another tune

E85 maps for RA with larger injectors and fuel pump would be nice. Just like the E85 maps for the EVO X A/P.

In fact, it might be possible to do an E85 tune on the stock injectors and pump.

Jim, I don't think I've ever seen you write a sentence on these forums without the word "E85" somewhere in it.....

stage 2 maps are already calibrated for a TBE, i'm going to assume you mean stage 2 with an upgraded FMIC right?

The lack of maps is the only reason I did not get the ap from cobb. If they do go through with making more maps Id be all about it. Did they give u any type of time line or is this something that might not happen for a while.

I agree, I would love to see some intakes (and if it is only a few, thats fine) on the list of tunes. I know they literally have to make the map with each and every type of intake but just having the option for tunes with tbe's and stock configs is kinda frustrating. I keep checking for updates to see if they add new tunes for intakes but I keep getting disappointed. I love the AP but it was quite expensive, hopefully we can get something rolling with a legitimate list sent to Cobb so they can take action. Im willing to help support as much as I can!!!

If the AP would offer that many options of tuning I would consider buying one. For now I am sticking with my GST tune. I just know I will be upgrading other parts and before long I will have to look at tuning.

- K&N Drop IN Filter
- OEM EVO X Bypass Valve
- OEM EVO X Intercooler
- AMS or UTR UICP
- Cat-back Exhaust for Cali folks.. =)

Set at least a Stage 1 for these simple OEM mods, and have it run correctly.
