Logging AFRMAP? ROMID 53610010

Hi folks. As thread title indicates, has anyone had any success in finding the correct address for logging AFRMAP on 53610010 - or similar? Never been able to see this very useful bit of info.

I've tried "shotgun" approach for addresses at and near other ROMs' AFRMAP, but haven't come up with anything.

Cheers,

Rich

Found what I was doing wrong - it was set up as 2-byte... worked perfectly once I'd put it (back?) to single byte.

Glad you got it sorted Rich, I however found it of little use and have since turned off afrmap logging.

Woah, it's time to get really excited over something sad and nerdy!

Check out the AFRMAP logged values (purple) in comparison to Inno LC-1 wideband readings (black):

I reckon that's awesome - I'd never expected that the ECU AFRMAP value would be so closely matched to the real, measured mixtures.

This finally lets me see exactly what I'm dealing with. I can see the delay between ECU mixture control at the injectors and the post-turbo measurement.

I can basically eyeball the AFRMAP and wideband graphs, and get a tight bead on things like spool-up AFR - which has driven me to distraction.

Yeah, I reckon I can work with this!

I was doing some logging today on a local guy's Ralliart and noticed that the AFRMAP values seem very close to actual AFRs but I didn't have a wideband to verify.

Richardjh were you ever able to figure out where the AFRMAP values are coming from and if we can trust them for logging and tuning purposes?
