The problem is that I have to get the brake upgrades squared away, first. I don't want to release a product, ever again, that has as many problems as that first round of brake upgrades did. I felt terrible about that, and I want to feel good about everything that I release (that's what she said).

I have been saying over and over that I will get the products out ASAP. Unfortunately, last time I rushed into making stuff, which is a mistake that I will not make again.

In the meantime, I have been researching the hell out of this. There are a lot of choices in clutch materials. Check out regular clutches for Evo X GSR's. They make so many different configurations and options. I gather that my original idea (carbon-kevlar) may not have been the best option for this product. I tried that material out in my personal car. It sucked. Even if you don't slip it (which cannot be guaranteed with current computer configurations), you won't see more than 30,000 miles with it. I am now trying an organic compound (similar to the SSP 400HP clutch disks). The clutch that I have in my car now is rated to 382 ft/lbs of torque. I will soon be way surpassing that. I will run it until it fails. At that point, I will be able to render a verdict. I have access to that kind of material and can re-manufacture it. Then, the decision becomes how many disks to run. They make twin-disk setups out of organic (full face clutches) to maximize surface area. Dodson is doing this with their Organic Setup (pity, because that is what I would have done). At this point, I would recommend talking to them, but I am still working on this.

By no means was i trying to rush you. i understand R&D takes lots of time, money and experimentation. Was just hoping to hear some great information from you because i love learning things =P. Sorry to hear about the brakes, now that you said something i do remember reading about the brakes setup going under.

I would be interested in being a guinea pig for ya for anything you do cause you sound like a guy that wants the best. But seeing as im using this as my DD currently i wouldnt feel comfortable doing that. Im hoping to pick up a new DD within the next year or so. So maybe if you were up for that later i'd be down! im sure others would be too. That would help get more feedback and figure out the kinks with each product.

From reading lots of your stuff, it sounds like you want the best and most reliable, that grabs my attention. The innovative thinking you have is great and im sure more people in this community would be willing to offer there services.

Best of luck!
