So I took my car to the track to get some 1/4 times...car is tuned on 91 at 26.6 psi...best time was a 13.6 boost would only hit 18psi and car would hesitate at higher rpms...the boost isn't going past 18psi now :/ white puff of smoke came out the exhaust first time it happened. Really irritating....anyone have any ideas as to wtf may have happened? car drives fine...except for the hesitation abd lower boost than its tuned for

 

Any Codes? High idle?

 

I know someone who had this issue, but they got water in their motor somehow. Were you cooling anything down with ice water between runs and accidentally got some on the intake or on top of the motor?

 

Kinda sounds like a leak too though, boost leak that is, how's the idle?

Also...puff of smoke...turbo seals?

 

Check all your hoses espically on the front of the motor because theres a hose you should clamp on. If it comes off you could blow ur motor.
