I installed my amazingly souding borla cbe without a cat a few weeks ago. Bad idea. Rediculous drone 2~4k rpms.

Got a hfc installed, drone 50% settled down yet still too droney for accelerating through 2.2~3.8k, let alone 3k cruising with light load drone.

Now, I have two options. Add a resonator, and if so how long what kind, etc.

Or

Add a muffler, 1 in 2 out style. (Like dc/magnaflow)

A resonator may fix the drone but would have to be the right size. The muffler will tone down the drone but also the loud exhaust. I love the way it sounds, if it gets toned down, not a big deal, but if it sounds much different that'll just be upsetting.

Ideas? Solutions? Personal experience?
