I've been told that the cams in the RA are milder and more suited towards the TD04 turbo instead of the bigger TD05 on the Evo X. However, I can't prove it yet so I could be very wrong.

 

I can't really buy this after seeing the power RA's make when you put on a Evo 10 turbo or larger on. They then fall directly inline with MR's.

 

It's very possible that they do however fall directly in line with each other (Ralliart Vs Evo).

Cost wise it would have been much cheaper for Mitsubishi to mass produce only one set of cams. Perhaps the MIVEC maps are different between the two stock for stock.

 

You have a lot of catching up to do.

 

Yeah, I really do. Prior to owning my 2012 RA, I was an Eclipse guy since the age of 16...so that's about 11 years of doing 1G-4G Eclipses. Still reading and learning about this new stuff. Quite different.
