Keep HFC or go with muffled test pipe

I currently have a UR catback exhaust with both the resonator and mini muffler options, along with a Depo HFC installed on my car. While I love the sound and the performance, I wish it were a little quieter. I'm not too concerned about the "emissions" part, I plan on reinstalling my OEM cat for inspection, then putting the aftermarket piece back on.

However, I can't gather enough information on the sound levels of a HFC compared to a muffled test pipe. I also don't want to spend $200+ on a muffled test pipe, install it and not be any quieter than my current setup. So, my question is simply this... will a muffled test pipe be any quieter than my current 200-cell HFC, or should I just save my money and run my current setup?
