Mishimoto FMIC

I'm a total newb to performance upgrades but I am looking to upgrade the FMIC and exhaust to start, I'm just curious if the Mishimoto FMIC for the evo x will fit our ralliarts also is it worth it to upgrade from the fabric piping to metal? Thanks for the help!

What is your plan for the car? Minor mods/tune/stock turbo? If so - the EVO X FMIC/pipes and BOV are the best value. FP Green turbo? start cruising the EVO X group for mods/information...

I was very newb when I bought my mishimoto intercooler. I hadn't actually heard enough about the evo to know for sure if it would fit. Its almost a perfect fit. its just a little tight in the fitting dept as far as lower pipe fitting. Also if you go with this intercooler you almost have to get new pipes. unless you like Jerry rigging things. which I don't recommend.

shouldnt it be a 2.5-->2.25 adapter? know mishimoto sells them for about 10 a piece. would req 2 and 4 t clamps/ screw bands.

Didnt want to start a new thread on this i am also interested in upgrading to a Mishimoto FMIC. However on Thelancershop.com they have the inlet/outlet piping at 2.5"
http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...cat=179&page=1

But everywhere else including Mishimoto's main site it has all their intercooler's at 3". I read you would need to be new LICP but iv only seen 2.5" lower intercooler kits.
