What do you think is a good exhaust?

Trying to decide on what exhaust to get for my ralliart. I'm looking for a catback right now, not sure if i want to do a turbo back yet. I'm looking for something with a nice growly sound. I like the look and sound of the UR single. And the DC Sports single looks good too, but i havent found any good videos of it. What exhaust do you guys think is good?

I would look into AMS also. Their exhausts sound very good. Also I'm not sure if ETS makes a ralliart exhaust but look into them also.

I like the AMS single but I've read a lot of ppl saying that it was too low. It does sound nice but i don't want it to scrape

Yeah I hear you. I'd go with the UR over the DC if it was me.

I have a cp-e cat back exhaust, and I'm liking it. It is a little louder then I hoped for In the low rpm range, but once you get up to speed you don't really hear it. All my worries go away when I put it in sport mode and punch it good though! Check out videos on youtube. There's on of a cp-e exhaust that the guy tapes his camera to the back of his car, It's the most accurate one I've heard, but no camera seems to pick up on the really low tones of this exhaust. It has a very deep, throaty sound.

If I were ever to get another exhaust it would probably be the UR exhaust with a mini muffler or something like that.

Yeah I saw that vid. It sounded sick as hell. But I do like the look of single exhaust better..dont kno y..haha...but for the way u decribed it, i would rather have an exhaust that was quiet a low rpm and got louder as they went up like my rx8

Yeah, there's another guy on here that has a cp-e exhaust and he said a guy at the gas station asked him if he has a V-8 in his car and he told him yeah.
You might have a hard time finding one like that because from what i've heard there's a certain rpm on our cars that really makes the the car buzz and resonate no matter what exhaust you have.

Im running the magnaflow catback. Not very audible at all inside but when you floor it you can definitely hear it. Gurggles really well at idle, had my girl drive away in it and sounds sexy. Everyone thats ever heard my exhaust seems to like it. Nothing bad I can say about it, not obnoxiously loud either. Borla comes highly recommended as well although some say it's too loud but its all based off your personal preference.

I originally went with a UR dual exit catback for my RA. Sounded amazing, not too loud not to subtle, with the perfect tone. Now that I got my TP on, its significantly louder and sounds like pure sex. My brother has an evo x with jdm fujitsubo turboback and is jealous of the way my RA sounds. My friends say that it sounds like an escaped silverback gorilla when I give it some. I wouldn't change a thing! Here is a link with the windows down, this is the most realistic clip I have of the sound. Still, its 10x better in person.

I have the AMS single and love it. This comes straight from AMS
• 15+ Wheel Horsepower gains over stock
• 24 lb. weight savings (21 lbs. compared to stock at 45 lbs.)
• 6" Of Ground clearance, no lower than the factory cross member

Im lowered with this exhaust and drive on some pretty crappy roads and not once have I come close to bottoming out on the exhaust.

Hey Jay, can you do me a solid and post some installed photos of the AMS exhaust? Do you also have a TP installed?

I would steer clear of the DC Sports exhausts, after having major fitment issues with my dual DC sports system and no reponse from DC Sports I would look elsewhere.

The UR single I really like and have thought about switching out for one, they normally no a black frday 15% off deal so keep your eyes open.

The AMS does sound awesome but i'm not 100% I like the look of it, I need to see more photos of it.

Heres a few pictures i just took of my Ams exhaustt hope this helps. It does sit a little low but i havent had any issues. Tho i will admit even with a UR high flow cat its not real loud. Im looking into a few diff ones now, i want it a little louder.

I'll also throw in I have a UR Resonated TP with my Magnaflow as well and it's pretty deadly combo. The TP really brings the sound of your exhaust to life as you're flying through the revs
