Group Buy RA Specific Exhaust Manifold

Hi everyone,

I officially have a Ralliart-specific tubular exhaust manifold in the works. It will be a group buy and will be through me (SSP).

It is being made by Kaizen Tuning and available through SSP at a great discount! Kaizen needs at least (5) to go ahead and produce it for the Ralliart (EvoX pictured, will be identical for the Ralliart with correct flange).

I want to get this on my car ASAP!!

Details:
Medium Runner Manifold
1.66" Diameter Runners
Fully ported inside and out
CNC Ported header flange
CNC Machined turbo inlet flange
304 stainless thick walled runners
100% backpurged manifold
Welded collector inside and out
Heavy duty, designed for boost applications and heat
Stock boost response, vastly improved top end volume
Great for stock turbo or upgraded turbo applications

MSRP: $850

Group Buy Price Through SSP: $725

(add $150 for coating)

1) Jasoob (black ceramic coated)
2)
3)
4)
5)
6+)

No, coating it is a much better option for people with removed heat shields (like myself).

It should yield about 10-15whp.

On Kaizen's other pics of their EvoX manifold, it looks like there is a lot of excess material in the welds of the collector, head flange, and some of the piping. Were those just rushed pics before the final finishing/grinding? or are they sent out that way for strength or some other purpose? Or is it all just an optical illusion from the photography? On the second and third runner in the head-to-manifold flange pic, it looks like they haven't even completed the inside welding of (or gone deep enough into) the pipe to flange (unlike the appearance of the 1st/4th runner), which leads me to that conclusion

I only ask because it seems like it would be quite a restriction, and perhaps a couple of weak points, in some of the pics. It looks like a very nice piece, just maybe the pics were taken while some of the final clean-up was unfinished, just to get it out on the market?
What I'm talking about:

Again, not talking trash, as I've never actually seen a finished, sold, customer's piece, I'm just looking for some more detail that may be beneficial to others in their decision making.

Greetings -

The ports on our manifold are backfilled and then ground down to reduce restriction. The flanges are CNC cut and ported giving us a lot of room to place the weld.

We are IP in flow testing the Evo manifold now, using Flow Works, and FEA analysis. This is expensive and time consuming testing, that a lower grade manifold would not be subjected to.

Hope this helps you all make a positive buying decision, so we can get some of these Ralliart manifolds made.

Awesome, very glad to hear. I have heard so many good things about your company, I figured this was either oversight/hurry to release photographs before that particular piece was actually completed or just an optical illusion created by the lighting/angle in the photos. I'm surprised more haven't jumped at this opportunity already.

On that note, I recently had the chance to represent SSP at Kaizen's open house. I sincerely can't say enough at how amazing their shop is. Everything from the employees, tuning, service, parts, etc. it's really top notch. As you all know, I started this as a regular enthusiast on the forums. I couldn't believe how awesome their shop is. I'm not even saying this because SSP and Kaizen work closely together, it's really a personal observation.

That being said, there's a reason why I was excited they wanted to work together with me to make a similar manifold but for Ralliart sized turbos.

Let's get this done!

Its awesome that SSP and Kaizen are stepping up and developing some nice parts. What gains are we looking at for this?

See above, it typically yields 10-15

All my work and tuning will be done at Kaizen next year. I'm lucky, they're only 4.5 hours away from Montreal.
