Will you get any hp gain or feel any difference when upgrading to the X bpv? Also plan on purchasing K&N Filter, any gains from that? Its either X Bpv and Filter or Stock X FMIC because money is tight. I really dont know lol

I will eventually do the both but for now, but thing is If i get the intercooler I'm not installing until i get the UR Upper and Lower Piping. Im just worried i wont be able to find an intercooler in the future since I found one in great condition today.

The BPV won't do anything unless you run more boost, just might sound a bit louder. Air filter is good for about 3kw and better throttle response I have been told, and also makes the induction louder.

But any power gains you make will be lost if your stock intercooler gets heat soaked.

If you want power cheaply just to the GST Basemap reflash. Done.

BVP and drop-in are probably less than half of the cost of FMIC, UICP and LICP. Also the FMIC takes like a day to install, the other two are 10 minutes.

FMIC upgrade will prevent "heat soak" ie loss of power. BVP will prevent boost loss, ie loss of power. drop-in will lean out fuel so give you some HP gain, how ever small.

i actually gain 4kw by swapping from to an x bov, but i think that was more due to the fact that mine might have been leaking a bit on high boost

There will always be parts in good condition available to you. It`s like shopping for cars. Just need to look and be patient.

I'm about to have an X stock IC available. People sell them all the time man, dont worry. the FS forums are littered with them.
As for HP gains im sure the X bpv will hold higher boost much better than the plastic ralliart one, so you might feel a difference if you are running higher boost, also the X bpv + k&n filter will make for a nice sounding bpv as well. I have an extra K&N drop-in filter laying around here...tell ya what.. pay for the shipping and its yours. Paying it forward....
