Loosing 100 hp and running lean at WOT

So the other day I noticed that my car leans out to 14.5ish at WOT!!!! Also usually 2nd 3rd or even 4th gear after 5000rpms the car feels like its hesitating and studdering a lot. During some logs I emailed my tuners to show him the logs and he said im loosing almost 100hp!! i checked all hoses to see if something popped off and i see nothing. At idle my boost gauge is anywhere from around -22-24. BUT at WOT i see my boost gauge jumping back and fourth between 20lbs and 26lbs instead of holding it at a steady 25/26lbs which is weird. Mods on the cars are
-ef2 turbo
-fic 900cc
deathshwerks 65c fuel pump
ets intake/fmic/uicp/licp
hks bov
UR TBE

will do when i get home from work. But i just spoke to drew from MAp. he said that it could be cause the stock wiring for the fuel pump could not be enough and that i should have the fuel pump hard wired directly to the battery.

^Not a problem for the EVO X bubbas - so why would fuel pump wire gauge be an issue for us RAs?

Keep looking elsewhere.

Whats the flow rate of the 65c...

It does seem like youre running out of fuel... Also comparing a evo 10 to a ralliart isnt ideal... So dont just look elsewhere... Maybe the relay that switch high to low voltage is bad...

You can compare EVO X to RA for Fuel Pump, Fuel Pump wiring, and Fuel Pressure Regulator.

I use a DW65c in my setup and it's currently working perfectly fine. Though, I also use bigger injectors (ID1000) and a Boost Control Solenoid. If there's a problem with your fuel pump, then it'll be with the installation or possibly with the pump itself.

What you described, sounds almost like the ECU detected over boost and performed a boost cut to protect from bad things happening. Depending on the intervals used and the correction %'s applied, it can be a pretty drastic amount of boost that gets cut when the ECU detects "above target" pressures.

The leaning out bit is a little puzzling, but depending on where you are in the fueling maps, there is potential for it to lean out when you suddenly drop to much lower "load" cells, which would happen in sudden boost cut.

never said you CAN'T... just said it wasn't ideal... because it isn't... what if this pump pulls to much current and it fried a wire... you told him to ignore the wiring...

^Ah! I see your point - i re-read the OP and the sig for mods.... You are correct.

I 'thought' he was running stock pump with just upgraded injectors and thought you meant 'just upgrade the wiring for the stock pump'...

we good.

Check your logs to see what your injector duty cycle is. If you're getting up over 80% duty cycle then you may need more injector or fuel flow. If not, it could be starvation due to an air metering issue.

Boost leak test the car. PVC pipe, a drill, a valve stem, and some epoxy is all ya need to make a tester.
