Serious question for you all
It depends on how much space the arms need to properly flex. Does the piping go straight down the middle? If so, you could probably afford to shorten the hangers a little bit, depending on the geometry of the rest of the piping.
Hmm. Why they ran it that way I will never understand. There has to be another way around the diff. I donno, I almost think shortening the hangers would be more trouble than it's worth...do you scrape over speedbumps?

When Turbo XS first released the exhaust they had it higher up and had rubbing issues :P. So then the new version was redesigned to be lower but they over compensated I think.
I got the same comment on mine. I think shorting the hanger would cause the muffler and exhaust tips to angle down.
I don't mind it, because the dip is inline with the wheels it does not scrape unless you come across a speed bump that is higher in the center of the car or if you only go over them with 1 wheel .. even then not really an issue.
The only way to really fix it is to take it off and get a custom midpipe made or see if a shop can bend the mid pipe some how.

I've had mine on my car for almost the four years I've owned it. It was my first mod and I've only scraped it two or three times and that's on eibach sportlines, three people in the back seat, a trunk full of luggage and a VERY steep incline out of a gas station. It's very hard to bottom out that exhaust. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
I do not see it as an issue. Had mine on my car for years and never had an issue. My car is stock height. I could see if you were lowered there would be an issue. Pretty amazing exhaust. If you raise it then you run the risk of melting or burning something if the pipe is too close to your fuel tank etc
