What fuel injectors are you running

Hi everybody,

I was wondering what fuel injectors you are running on your tuned Ralliart. I am planning on running e85 soon and thinking about purchasing the ID 1300cc. Am I going the right direction? Should I consider a different brand? I look forward to everyone's response! Thank you in advance!

What brand did you go with and why?

I got a bundle package for ID 1300cc, AEM e85 fuel pump, fuel pump adapter, and fuel pump regulator for $1,250. I want to know if that's a good deal.

I went FIC because of their great flow matching and they're really proven and never given anyone in norcal an issue in our community. Everyone up here runs FIC or DW. In terms of if that is a good deal, Pump Retails for 120$, 1300cc ID injectors go for 900$ online, so YES you are getting a good deal. What are your goals horsepower wise? Be careful as too much torque will kill your SST clutch packs. Mine died around 330lb ft of torque. The trans is 5000-7000$ to repair and upgrade. just FYI

Thank you for your input! I saw around the forums a member selling ID 2000cc for $750. With that being said, are fuel injectors something I should buy new? Are there certain questions I should ask? As far as horsepower goals, I would like to be in the 300ish horsepower and 300ish torque. Thank you for the heads up about the sst clutch packs. Do you think I will have the same issue if it's the low 300's in torque?

You should make sure you ask if they have been cleaned/flow tested (BY FIC or someone). I don't think you should buy injectors second hand IMO. I never have before and I wouldn't recommend it. If they havent been cleaned they have to be sent out to get flow matched/tested and cleaned. and you might run into issues in the low 300's depending on how you drive the car. I autocross and track the car so of course im going to run into issues. That being said, be prepared to fork over some serious cash for an SST rebuild and upgrade.....

Thank you very much for the information. I'm reconsidering everything and maybe reverting back to stock. I don't know if any of this is worth it. I'm not going to autocross, if I track it then maybe I'll do that once or twice (never been to a track). I live in L.A. Can't really get on it out here. What's the point? I don't know... Jhurley_ra thank you again.

No problem. Just telling you straight up, when you start modding a car with the SST; you're essentially making the car a money pit. Right after i went E85 and started driving hard, the SST started to go. It is a fun as heck car, but wish it was a MT. Don't be disuaded from doing some power mods, you should be good up until full bolt ons and a 91 oct tune.

Staying away from e85, my current mod list is:

Turbo XS high flow cat
Turbo XS Front Pipe
Custom exhaust
Cobb 3-port boost controller
Cobb UICP
Evo X intercooler
UR LICP Cobb AP v2 Stage 3 Map
Turboxs dual port BOV
Swift sport springs

Anything you can think of instead of spending my money on e85? I would like to make my car a little faster than my 370z and not ruin the sst. Thank you for your help again!

Ummm the obvious answer here is to upgrade your turbo to either an EvoX turbo or a CBRD RAD turbo.

I went with a MAP Ef-3. They're more proven then the CBRD RAD and Stock Evo X......

Will it bolt up easily like the CBRD or do I need to change everything like doing and evo x swap?

ID1000 w/ a DW65 fuel pump to go with my BBX Lite in my build. There's enough fuel flow with those injectors and pump to run E85 on that turbo and have room to spare.
