This question has been asked by other members in the GST Basemap thread but doesn't get attention. I'm wondering if that's because the answer isn't something we want to hear.


Does upgrading the stock intake with the AEM intake and flashing with the appropriate GST basemap + AEM make any significant performance gains?

 

I have no personal experience with the GST/TBE/AEM basemap but I think the tune is adjusted to accommodate the AEM intake since the airflow is different. The gains are probably minimal.

Any more info on the differences when put on the dyno or boost levels ?
