So, CBRD no longer do the Rad lite / Full turbos for us TD04 owners... so what options do others do? Go to Blouch Performance directly?

CBRD is currently working on another Ralliart specific turbo.

Im aware he wrote that back in March... , it's over a month ago now... Anyway, I contacted CBRD directly earlier this week, and they didn't mention anything. He just directed me to their ex-supplier... no mention that they will bring something new out shortly... who wouldn't suggest to 'stay tuned' for something new to be released shortly if you wanted business... lol.. anyway... moving on

A well balanced build with clutches and injectors that can handle the power could easily cost $12000.

there is no need to upgrade clutch packs for the smaller 6758 or 7163 setups- if tuned properly-

The kit is meant to replace manifold (because over 50% are breaking), turbo (over 50% we are seeing cracked turbine housings), downpipe (most people replace anyway)- and it can bolt up to existing exhaust, intakes, ic pipes-

many of our RA clients ended up switching from RAD turbos to our larger stock frame turbos- so this was a natural progression-

we are actually installing one of these kits this week on a X with STOCK intercooler, piping, intake, exhaust- and just running E85- should be a monster!

This much torque on a Mustang dyno is really borderline for the stock clutches. Their life would definitely be significantly reduced and car would only be usable with S-Sport. Whether they get changed now or when they fail sooner rather than later, the extra cost for the transmission is inevitable.

Even with the manifold and downpipe, this is still about 3 times more expensive than the old options and requires a lot of extra support mods. It's a nice alternative to the swaps with built Evo X turbos a few people had been using, but it's no longer a value option like the RAD Life/Full.

Turbos-R-Us also does a ralliart turbo rebuild. Lancer Ralliart tdo4hl-15t turbo converted to billet 20t with a upgraded 9-blade tdo4hl turbine for around $750.
