Sst P1802 code
I have a 2011 Ralliart with around 90k miles, it gave me a P1802 code (shifter assembly LIN communication error) about a year ago it runs and drives fine no problems at all, I only drive It about once a week but I would like to get it fixed or fix it myself, before I take it to a dealer I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this code

Hi folks.
I had a issue with my 2010 Ralliart. First this code started to appear randomly. Through a year it started to stick and could not be removed with OBD-tools. So i figured i would get it sorted in the summer, as it had no impact on the driving.
What happened a month ago, was that i was taking my wife to work. I left a intersection by turning right. Transmission shifted from 1 to 2, and when it tried to shift from 2-3 there was a loud knock (1 times) and then all the power was gone. I could rev, i could shift with paddles but there was 0 power delivered, felt like it would be on N. I had to get it Tow'd to the Mitsubishi dealer. They have checked the car now and can't find anything. What they are saying is "we can try to replace the lever system 1000€ + labour, and if that won't work, we will change the transmission". Asked them, if they have even taken it apart, and they said it's not part of the Mitsubishi guide so they wont do it.
So what they did, was just plug the Mitsubishi reader in, and run few tests. This cost me 500€. Now i'm going to tow the car to my friends repair shop and they will look more deeply in what it is.
But the story was, that i was getting the same P1802 code for long time until this happened.
I'll post here when we figure out what the actual problem was.
Thanks
