2013 Ralliart UPPER INTERCOOLER PIPE

Hey guys.
Looking to replace the upper intercooler pipe with a stainless steel one, question is should I replace the pipe that runs into the intercooler too seeing its the same material as the full top pipe or is it ok to leave seeing its such a small piece.

This one just fits straight on the top side:
https://www.akracing.com.au/product/...hicle=Ralliart

or this is top and to the intercooler:
https://www.akracing.com.au/product/...de-piping-kit/

Ralliart is stock no extra mods or boost increase just looking for longevity.

Thanks, I wasn't sure, I've seen people just replace the top intercooler pipe but leave the stock pipe/fitting from the intercooler.
I'll order the whole kit.

Curious, what part was weird

that they would sell a part that doesn't replace that pipe/fitting

iirc when i owned my RA i didnt even come across a part without that fitting lol

Got you, what I found out is the just replace the silicon around the lower pipe and reused.
I understand you the idea of not needing to replace the metal piping for just the stock intercooler (upgrade to come though).
This is the section I was talking about.
