I have a 2014 ralliart. I bought it off a good friend and he said it ran great, had all gears he changed the alt and lost reverse he tried to hook up his snap on computer to it and it blocked him out of r 1,2,4,5 I got the cord for it offline and tried the relearn then it failed the plausibility check then I did the clutch ventilation then it stalled out I am so lost and feel like this was a bad financial decision

Some of the codes I’m getting I have no knowledge of these cars I’ve had wrxs focus st Mercedes amg and this has me lost

 

have you tried just clearing all the codes to see what happens? I believe with codes present you will not get normal end yes when running a teach-in.

Also, have you verified it is a good and correct alternator which is hooked up correctly? Incorrect reading/sensors will cause fail safes like this to happen.
