Fixing damage on bumper....
Fixing damage on bumper....
So I recently came back to my car to find a nice dent in the rear bumper.
I brought it to a local autobody shop to find out that a new bumper + install/paint would run me $1300. I am trying to figure out a way to fix it myself, either via heating it up and popping it out, then painting it.... or something along those lines.. Anyone have any help on what I can do to make this look better??? Thanks

bumper is palstic so it'll be risky to pop the dent out without messing the paint up. i suggest you take the bumper off, heat it well and slowly pop it out. and maybe touch up any scratches, if you try to buff that it will rip the paint off since it looks cracked
go on youtube there are many videos of how to fix the bumper its not that hard. if the scratches are in clear coat you can use Simons clear coat pen $10. If they are in base coat go to http://www.paintscratch.com and get paint in spray cans. Two cans of base coat and two cans of clear will cover the whole bumper. I did this many times on my and my friends cars its easy and will not run you more than $100.
