that looks 1000 times better than a stock ralliart. now it just needs lowered (so you can catch it on a curb) and get some new rims for god's sake!!!

alright, i had our parts guy call south coast and they were no help at all. first of all, tried to tell him he had to pay retail cost. second, wouldnt tell him how they went about ordering the lips, said he had no clue how they got them, even though he asked somebody else there about it too. oh well.

next step, japan! beginning of next week, we're going to get in contact with distribution in japan. my parts guy says he can get parts from japan as long as he has a number usually, so he's going to use the ralliart number from their catalog and see what they can do. only thing, though, is waiting for it to arrive on the "slow boat from japan" as he calls it.

anything special order from japan, thats offered as jdm only, usually takes awhile to get here, and its prepay only, and absolutely no returns whatsoever as long as its not defective or damaged in transit or something like that. best part about doing it this way, though, is if it works out, it will be shipped through normal mitsu distribution methods similar to regular stock orders and shouldnt cost hardly anything extra in terms of shipping. hopefully a for-sure answer sometime by the end of next week. will keep you guys up to date. wish me luck! *fingers crossed*

Yeah that is pretty disgusting I mean they would be making alot of money from the memebers on here. There is very high demand for this lip in in us.

That is bs everything that comes in has a packing slip and on that slip it tells everything. My friend is a parts guy at my local mitsu.

That would explain why they want to keep it on the down low. Anyone have the part number to this lip. If you do I can see if I can get one.

i'm loving it
i love looking at my car and thinking "damn, i wouldn't change anything about that thing."
when i had my ralli, i was always trying to look at it just right so i could convince myself that there wasn't anything i would change about it. i always had the nagging thoughts in the back of my head though... "if only the fenders were wider", "if only i had some more aggressive wheels", "if only it was lower", "if only i could afford that ralliart lip"... the list goes on.
i gotta say though, that lip does look amazing. now if only it were lower and had some more aggressive wheels... haha.

from what it appears, it only uses the ralliart part number, which is applicable to jdm only. if south coast is being hush-hush, i would assume they took any usdm applicable mitsu number references off of the packaging when they sell the part, maybe r3m1xxralliart can confirm if there were any part numbers on it when he bought the lip???

the only number i was able to find was RA640417P1 which is the ralliart number, and it doesnt pull up at all in our mitsu database. this is the number that my guy is going to use with japan corporate to try and source the part, like i said, he is pretty familiar with ordering from mitsu japan tho since we used to have the AMS parts account in-house until the dealership changed ownership and now we source a lot for Strictly Modified, so it should be very productive to have my guy working on this
