Wrx etr
Back on topic. I like the plate.
i never said low 12's...i said high 12's and there is atleast 4 people on nasioc then went into the 12's with a stock 09 and up wrx...i am talking about 12.9XXX not 12.5XXX i say an average driver will go mid 13's with the 09&^ wrx..same thing with sti's the average driver will go mid 13"s stock, just like me i went 13.5 in my stick 04 sti with a 1.9 60ft...does that mean the car cant go any faster with better driving...and if you own a 09 wrx like you claim you should be aware of the few that went 12.9XX stock..

omg not 4 people! You said yourself mid 13's is average. Mid 13's on a 1.9 60 is common in this car too. Its all about the driver.
My tune with exhaust walked all over wrx's at the track last year, a stage 2 08 sti, 2 different 265's with tunes and an other stage 2 wrx.
Its a situation by situation thing that can't be won in either direction.
^ This!
I think the best reviews put it at 13.9 with averages going around 14 flat or so in stock trim. I love my RA, but without mods it is slow compared to the WRX, Evo's, and STI's.
I'm not trying to paper race or anything here, it's just a fact the RA is slower, I've not heard of anyone running mid 13's without mods.

I think with this car the real question is how fast can it run without upgrading the transmission.
Also there are new products coming out all the time, with AMS there will be 3 companies offering dual exhaust options. There are a ton of intercooler and pipe options out there, BOV, intake, weight reduction, etc.
There are just so many factors.
I would say if you want a 10 second car (even with trans. upgrades) you are out of luck.
Easy, AMS stage 1 and call it a day:

Or go for the Stage 2 for good measure:
